The ADDERView CATx 1000 switch is a high-density, small form factor KVM product that provides local and remote access and enables control of up to 16 multi-platform servers over CATx cabling. A combination of USB console support and a full KVM feature set ensures powerful switching of USB, video and audio signals, ideal for server room and desktop environments. Any type of server can be connected to when ADDERView CATx 1000 is combined with ADDER Computer Access Modules (CAM). This product is part of the CATx range.

User access control
Up to 16 different user profiles can be created and access rights defined for each user.
Local user support
Direct connection for 1 local user to connect directly to the switch via CATx cable.
Global User (IP)
Compatibility with Real VNC client software (or alternative browser) specifically designed for secure, high performance KVM-over-IP applications.
Encryption and authentication
AES128-bit encryption and RSA2048 authentication ensure that your control system remains secure at all times.
USB keyboard and mouse control
Any USB keyboard and mouse can be used to control the ADDERView CATx 1000 switch. Full keyboard remapping is supported to ensure seamless cross-platform functionality.
Video modes
Support for standard video modes for PC, Sun and Mac up to 1600 x 1200 resolution at 60 Hz.
True multi-platform support
Support for all computer platforms with PS / 2, USB and Sun keyboard and mouse interfaces. Country code reporting, DDC and continuous keyboard and mouse emulation ensure error-free operation.
Easy cascade
Expand easily by using only CATx cables to connect units and cascade connections to support up to 256 computers.
Optional audio
44.1 kHz digital stereo audio with audio-enabled CAM modules.
Option port
Integration with RS232-controlled power switches for full reboot capability.
Integrated CATx extender
Controlled with an ADDERLink X200 or X100 receiver and the integrated CATx extender from a distance of up to 300 m via a CATx cable.
Computer access modules
Flash-updatable CAMs are available for PS / 2, USB and Sun keyboard and mouse support with optional audio.
Standard transmission distance
KVM communication from the switch to the target devices can be up to 10 m.
Rack mount/rack drawers
One or two CATx 1000 switches can be mounted in 1U rack height, giving a maximum of 32 ports perU. Due to their small size, the units are also ideal for mounting behind KVM rack drawers.
Embedded KVM option
CATx 1000 technology can be embedded in rack drawers and industrial equipment.

Are supported via a dedicated serial interface.
