The ADDERView CATxIP 5000 product is a full-featured, high-density KVM-over-IP switch that allows up to 5 local, remote and global users to simultaneously access and control BIOS-level computers. A combination of USB console support, global IP access and a full KVM feature set ensures powerful and flexible switching of USB, video and audio signals. The product combines 4 non-blocking simultaneous IP connections with a local port (5 separate users) with control of up to 16 separate devices. The small form factor design allows two units to sit within 1U of rack space and support 32 computers and 10 sessions. Any type of server can be connected to when ADDERView CATxIP 5000 is combined with ADDER Computer Access Modules (CAM). This product is part of the CATx range.

Rack mount / rack drawers
One or two CATxIP 5000 switches can be mounted in 1U rack height, giving a maximum of 32 ports perU. Due to their small size, the units are also ideal for mounting behind KVM rack drawers. Also available: ADDERView RDX 5000IP high density rack tray with integrated ADDERView CATxIP 5000.
Embedded KVM option
