CAMs allow the user to connect several different machine platforms to an Adder CATx switch or KVM extender. The CATX-USB / USBA computer access module (CAM) enables connections to computers with VGA, audio and USB ports.

Features
A computer access module is a small device that connects the required output ports of a computer to a standard CAT5e, CAT6 or CAT7 cable. The device is inline and does not require an additional power supply for operation, but draws its. The main body is made of a robust ABS material, in which the RJ45 connector is located. From this main body, one or more connections can be made to the back of your target computer / server.
All ADDER CAMs use Adder Keep Alive technology to ensure that the computer's keyboard and mouse inputs remain active even when the respective channel is not selected. This action ensures that no connection delays or problems occur when the port is selected.
