WLD2 is a WiFi / Ethernet water leak detector with support for WWW, SNMP, emails and PoE . Up to 4 very sensitive sensor cables are used. Alarms are triggered by even the smallest amounts of liquid, such as condensation from A / C pipes or water leaks in general. You receive alarms before costly damage occurs. In addition to flooding, the device also detects unconnected or damaged sensor cables to increase reliability.
WiFi connectivity allows the WLD2 water leak detector to be installed in remote locations. In the event of flooding, an alert can be sent by email, SNMP trap or via the SensDesk cloud. With an external HW Group SMS gateway, it can send a text message or dial a phone number. In critical applications, it can of course also communicate via wired Ethernet and operate with PoE.
WLD2 supports zone creation. The flood sensor can call a different phone number for each zone.
WLD2 can be connected to the SensDesk portal using the HWg push protocol and to standard monitoring systems thanks to SNMP and SNMP trap support. Flooding can also be indicated by switching a remote output (e.g. a relay) via the network (Box-2-Box mode with a Poseidon2 or Damocles2 unit) independently for each sensor cable.
Compared to HWg-WLD, up to 4 independent detection cables can be connected to the WLD2 to locate the leak more accurately.
