A universal water flood sensor detects the occurrence of flood water through a soaked cable. Soaking or interrupting the cable causes the relay contact (NO/NC) to switch. The sensor cable detects a small amount of water or other liquid. The "WLD sensor cable A" is supplied in lengths from 0.4 to 85 m. It can be extended with an extension cable. It can be connected with an extension cable up to 100 m long.
The WLD Relay sensor can be used separately with 12V power supply and relay output or connected as a sensor with Poseidon 2 via 1Wire UNI bus.

Applications and use
- The sensor cable can be extended with a two-core cable (100m, at least AWG24).
- The sensor cable can be divided into several segments to detect flooding only at endangered points.
- Status indication via the 1-wire UNI bus:
- 0 = OK
- 1 = Sensor cable flooded
- 2 = Sensor cable disconnected
- Status indication at the relay output:
- open = OK (or "unit de-energised")
- closed = sensor cable flooded or disconnected
