S-Hub represents a device that allows RS-485 sensors to be connected to Poseidon family devices such as Poseidon2 4002. The RS-485 bus is connected to the Poseidon model 1250 via TP cable and RJ45 connector. S-Hub allows connection of up to 8 sensors via RJ45 to a single Poseidon unit. S-Hubs can be connected in series. Although the topology of S-Hub is similar to Hub on Ethernet, it cannot be switched.
The RS-485 bus also works reliably over long distances in industrial environments, but some principles must be observed when connecting. To make it easier to connect the sensors, we supply the S-Hub with the Poseidon. This is really a great help when installing sensors. Standard TP cables can be used in the star connection.
