Simple light intensity sensor for indoor use. The sensor is intended for use with Ares, Poseidon and other HW Group products that can connect a 1-Wire UNI bus (RJ11). Each sensor is identified by a unique serial number. Multiple sensors can be connected in parallel to a single RJ11 bus. Typically used to distinguish between day and night or to detect the presence of people in a server room (lights switched on).

Applications and use
- Connect the probe to a Poseidon unit and receive an email every time someone enters (and turns on the light) or leaves (turns off the light) the room.
- Connect the probe to an Ares unit to get indicative monitoring of the photovoltaic system lighting.
- Can be used for easy detection of access to a cabinet.
- Poseidon makes lighting intensity accessible via SNMP, Modbus/TCP or other protocols.
