Extension module for connecting 4 potential-free contact inputs to Ares and Poseidon devices.
Connect another push button, door contact, smoke detector, etc. to the 1-Wire UNI bus (RJ11).
Connects 4 digital sensors (detectors) to Poseidon and Ares devices. The expander is connected via an RJ11 cable. Several expanders can be connected in series.
Supplied with a 3 m RJ11 cable.

Bus
- Type: 1-Wire UNI
- Supported by: Ares, Poseidon2, Poseidon 2250, 4002
- Sensor assignment: The expander unit reserves 4 sensor positions from the 1-Wire bus boundary.
- Even if you only use 2 external DI, the expander unit blocks 4 sensor positions.
- Connection: 2x RJ11 (bus input & bus output for next sensor).
- Power supply: Power supply via RJ11 bus, in some cases an external 5 V power supply is required.
- Power limitation: Maximum 2 expander units can be connected to one active port (Poseidon or Ares RJ11 connector).
- To increase power, use an external 5 V power supply or "1-Wire Hub Power".
- Maximum distance: 60m total cable length from the active port of the Poseidon / Ares unit.
- Accessories: Supplied with 3m cable 2x RJ11 included.

- Connection: IN1 -IN4
- Type: Digital input (supports NO/NC dry contact)
- Sensitivity: 1 (On) = 0-500 Ω (COM pin is connected to GND of the 1-Wire UNI bus).
- Sampling period: DI state is refreshed once per second
- Galvanic isolation: Digital inputs are NOT galvanically isolated from the 1-Wire UNI bus.
