The EKI-2525PA and EKI-2528PAI are 5/8-port unmanaged PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) Industrial Ethernet switches that support 4 PoE ports classified as Power Source Equipment (PSE). These PoE devices enable centralised power supply and provide up to 15.4 watts of power per port. Advantech EKI PoE devices can be used to power IEEE 802.3af compliant power devices (PD) via the Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for additional power cabling. Advantech EKI PoE devices are equipped with all the standard features of the EKI family. In addition, they offer a redundant 24/48 VDC power input and are protected with a dual protection mechanism: power polarity reverse protect and a resettable overload protection. Advantech EKI PoE units feature a compact metal enclosure with an IP30 rating to protect them from dusty industrial environments.
