ADDERView Secure switches allow a KVM plus audio desktop to be shared between different classification level computers. The switches are designed for superior ease of use and feature configurable LED buttons and a real-time status display.

Features
Unidirectional keyboard, video, mouse and audio data paths.
Unidirectional optical diodes ensure that data paths run in only one direction, preventing data loss from shared peripherals. A unidirectional structure also protects against timing analysis or forced malfunction attacks and prevents computers from affecting the operation of shared circuits.
Keypad Locks - Status
Shows status of keypad locks (CAPS-LOCK, NUM-LOCK, SCROLL-LOCK) , which are blocked by unidirectional data paths.
No shared RAM between channels
The keyboard and mouse processor is switched off and reset at each switchover to prevent shared RAM leaks. All data buffers are actively cleared after they are used.
Automatic switching (configuration option)
Free-flow KVM and audio control between ports without having to press any buttons. Simply move the mouse between windows.
Channel identification
Reduce the likelihood of operator error by displaying a name for each channel and its security classification on the e-paper display. The colour of the channel LED can also be configured to reflect the safety classification.
Hardware tamper protection
Holographic tamper-evident labels protect the product's casing and give a clear visual indication if it has been opened or damaged.
Restricted USB function
The USB ports only accept HID (Human Interface Devices) such as keyboards and mice. Other devices, such as USB memory drives, are actively prohibited.
Non-reprogrammable firmware
No port can be used to access the product's firmware or memory. Firmware is permanently stored in non-reprogrammable read-only memory (ROM) to prevent changes. Firmware integrity is checked by a self-test at power-up. Detection of a critical error disables the unit and provides a clear visual indication to the user.
Video performance
Up to 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz for graphics-intensive applications that require very high quality.

Computer video input interfaces are isolated by using separate electronic components and power supply. The display is isolated by dedicated, read-only Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) emulation for each computer. Access to the monitor's EDID and MCCS (Monitor Control Command Set) commands is blocked.
