ADDER SFP-MM-LC-10G is a 10GbE multimode fibre SFP transceiver with LC connectors for use with the ADDERLink Infinity series, providing a data rate of 10 Gbps up to 300 meters away. SFP-MM-LC-10G modules require OM1, OM2, OM3 or OM4 multimode fibre optic cables.
ADDERLink Infinity ALIF 1002 and all ALIF Dual variants offer a choice of link connections. Each supports copper-based Gigabit Ethernet (1000Base-T) as well as Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE). The ALIF (1002) and ALIF Dual units offer a single system connector (CATx) on the right-hand side of the front panel as standard. The 10 Gbit Ethernet fibre optic SFP modules with LC connectors are suitable for a distance of 300 meters (multi-mode) or 10 km (single-mode) cable length. ALIF dual units additionally enable parallel use of the dual network interface ports ("teaming operation") with the added benefit of link redundancy that can maintain operation in the event of a failed link. Teaming provides immediate speed improvements in a one-to-one arrangement as well as in multicast installations.
